Gordon Clefton

Gordon has been with Nuclear Energy Institute for over ten years working in the engineering fields of digital implementation, grid reliability, cable management, nuclear fuels, and rulemaking for 10cfr50.46c (fuel cladding) and 10cfr50.55a (incorporating IEEE 603-2009 by reference).

His prior experience includes:
  • Operations on US Navy nuclear submarines
  • Management at Rancho Seco Generating Station
  • Consulting at US and international nuclear generating stations
  • Consulting with D.O.E. at domestic nuclear facilities
Currently, Gordon is also an American Nuclear Society Executive Committee Member of the Human Factors, Instrumentation & Controls Division.
