Jack Davis

Mr. Davis is currently Director for the Japan Lessons Learned Division (JLD), Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). He has more than 25 years of commercial and defense nuclear safety experience. Mr. Davis joined the NRG in 1997 as a nuclear safety inspector. Since that time he has held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of nuclear reactors, nuclear fuel cycle, high level waste, and nuclear security. He has also served in management and staff positions within the Department of Energy and the Westinghouse Electric Company. He holds a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State University and is a 2005 graduate of the DOE Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program.
