Tim Wells

Tim Wells is a Principle Engineer with over 32 years of experience in the nuclear industry. His current position is the Fleet PWR Primary System Integrity Program Owner in the Fleet Engineering Programs Department at the Southern Nuclear Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL. The department is responsible for governance, oversight and support of engineering programs established to protect the integrity and reliability of structures systems and components at Plant Hatch, Plant Farley, and Plant Vogtle. Prior to this position, Mr. Wells was the Fleet BWR Vessel and Internals Program Owner. Mr. Wells is a former technical chair for the PWR Materials Reliability Program and has been active in BWR and PWR materials programs for over 25 years. Mr. Wells is a registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and obtained a S.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University.
