Nathan A. Palm

Nathan Palm is a Senior Technical leader in the Boiling Water Reactor Vessel and Internals Project (BWRVIP) at EPRI. His current areas of responsibility include BWRVIP projects relating to reactor vessel integrity, environmentally assisted fatigue, and repair activities. Mr. Palm joined EPRI in 2013 and has been active in managing the BWRVIP integrated surveillance program and tasks related to addressing atypical cracking in the BWR core shroud. Prior to joining EPRI he was a Fellow Engineer with Westinghouse Electric Company. Mr. Palm received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA and a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.  Mr. Palm is a licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
