W20  Perspectives on Risk-Informed Licensing Changes for Operating Reactors

There is a significant interest from the NRC, the NRC’s licensee’s, the public, and other stakeholders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk-informed regulation.  The NRC staff continues to support efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of the risk-informed review process.  This session will focus on successes as well as issues in recent applications of risk-informed license amendments.  This session will also serve as a forum for the audience to ask questions related to significant risk-informed licensing topics.
