Michael Annacone

Mr. Michael Annacone is the Vice President – Nuclear Safety for the Chicago Bridge & Iron Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. He started in this role in February, 2014. Mr. Annacone has 29 years of experience in nuclear power. His career started at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, serving in several leadership roles at two nuclear navy prototypes including Shift Supervisor, Training Manager, and Operations Manager. In 1997, he joined the Florida Power Corporation at the Crystal River Nuclear Plant where he obtained his SRO license and held the positions of Operations Manager,  Engineering Manager, and Plant Manager. He transferred to the Brunswick Nuclear plant in 2008 and held the positions of Director of Site Operations and Site Vice President. Prior to joining CB&I, he served as the Corporate Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and regulatory Affairs for Duke Energy. Mr. Annacone has a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
