Nader Mamish

Mr. Nader Mamish became the Director of the Office of International Programs at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in February 2013. 

Since joining the NRC in 1992, he has served as a radiation specialist in the former Region V office and has held more progressively responsible positions, including senior enforcement specialist, branch chief, deputy division director, deputy office director, and Assistant for Operations. 

Mr. Mamish received a bachelor's degree in radiological health physics and a master's degree in radiological sciences from the University of Massachusetts.  Prior to joining the NRC, he served in a variety of positions working for Yankee Atomic Electric Company and Florida Power and Light Company.
