T7  International Challenges and Perspectives on Spent Fuel Storage

The session’s purpose is to present different countries’ perspectives on spent fuel storage and disposal to gain an understanding of the political, economic, technical, and regulatory challenges involved. Presentations will include description of options considered, development of associated regulatory infrastructures, resolution of technical challenges, and implementation of selected strategies.
