Ronald Albert

Ronald Albert joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 1989 as a Reactor Safeguards Inspector for the Region I Office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.  After 7 years there, he transferred to Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, as a force-on-force (FOF) specialist with the NRC’s Operational Safeguards Response Evaluation (OSRE) program, which was the immediate predecessor to current NRC FOF inspections.  In 2003, he began managing the FOF inspection program as the Chief of the Security Performance Evaluations Branch, where he served until moving into his current position as Chief of Reactor Security Oversight Branch in 2008.
