Marcus Nichol

Marc Nichol is the Senior Project Manager for Used Fuel Storage and Transportation at the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI).  In this role, Mr. Nichol leads industry initiatives to address generic issues related to used fuel storage and transportation, including criticality.  Prior to joining NEI, Mr. Nichol worked at Toshiba America Nuclear Energy (TANE) on the project to build new ABWR reactors at STP.  He also worked at Duke Energy as an engineer in used fuel management, and in plant operations.   Mr. Nichol received his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering in 1998 from Purdue University, an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from University of California Berkeley in 1999, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina in 2009.
