Louis K. Brandon

Lou Brandon currently works at NRC headquarters, in Nuclear Security and Incident Response, as the Protective Measures Team Program Manager. He is also the program manager for the Radiological Assessment System for Consequence Analysis (RASCAL) code and is a certified health physicist. He is actively involved with the Federal Radiological Monitoring and Assessment Center (FRMAC) Assessment, Operations, and the Interagency Modeling and Atmospheric Assessment Center (IMAAC) interagency workgroups.

Before joining the NRC in 2006, Lou worked for the State of Michigan as Chief of the Nuclear Facilities Unit, within MDEQ. Lou received an MS degree in Physics from Michigan State University.
