Undine Shoop

Undine Shoop is the Chief, Health Physics and Human Performance Branch in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. Prior to her current position, she was a Senior Technical Communications Assistant in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations. Undine began her NRC career in 1996 and from 1998 until 2005 she was a technical reviewer in the Reactor Systems Branch specializing in nuclear fuel and thermal-hydraulic analysis. Prior to joining the NRC, Undine worked as a reactor engineer at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station as a co-op student. Undine holds a B.S. and a M.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
