Amanda Lynne Donges

Amanda Donges is the Manager, Events Analysis for the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) in Atlanta, Georgia.

INPO, sponsored by the commercial nuclear industry, is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the highest levels of safety and reliability - to promote excellence - in the operation of commercial nuclear power plants.

Ms. Donges became Manager, Events Analysis in September 2011. In this position, she is responsible for ensuring that industry performance data is analyzed and insightful results are communicated to prevent events, detect signs of decline, and inform decision-makers. Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Donges served as the Section Manager, Events Analysis and as an Operations Evaluator for two and a half years. While at INPO, she received her senior reactor operator certification.

Before joining INPO in 2007, Ms. Donges served as a Nuclear Engineering/Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, attaining the rank of Lieutenant.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in quantitative economics.
