Scott Bauer

Scott Bauer has been serving at NEI as the STARS Washington Representative since 2010. He has been an employee of Arizona Public Service Company at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station since 1993. At Palo Verde he served most recently as the Director of Regulatory Affairs.

Scott came to Palo Verde from the Trojan Nuclear Plant following its closure in 1993. At Trojan, Scott served as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs. Scott joined the staff at Trojan in 1980 straight out of the Navy nuclear power program. In the Navy, Scott served as the Reactor Laboratories Division Officer aboard the USS Eisenhower, CVN 69 and as the Engineering Training Assistant aboard the USS Arkansas, CGN 41. Scott also obtained his qualification as Engineering Officer through Naval Reactors.

Scott is a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy in 1975, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. Scott obtained a Professional Nuclear Engineer License in the State of Oregon.
