Current Duties: 
 
Serves as the NRC Staff expert on evaluation of reactor licensee financial qualifications and associated policies associated with electric industry restructuring and deregulation. Provides authoritative consultation, guidance, assistance, and recommendations to management in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, other NRC Offices, and Commissioners and their staffs for all issues relevant to licensee financial qualifications and performance, financial, economic, and insurance principles, corporate finance, financial markets, and the NRC mission.  Functions as the lead agency point of contact and liaison with external Government agencies, industry organizations, associations of Federal, State, and local government rate-making bodies, academia, and professional societies with influence over or interest in NRC activities and initiatives in the areas of deregulation, restructuring, and financial qualifications.
