Robert Elliot

Robert Elliott joined the NRC in 1990 as a project engineer. Since that time, he has served in a number of progressively more responsible assignments, including his current assignment as the Chief of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation’s (NRR’s) Technical Specifications Branch where he has served for the last 3 years. He has over 20 years experience in evaluating and resolving technical issues, and reviewing commercial power reactor license amendment requests. In 2006, he was selected at the NRC’s Congressional Fellow, and spent the following year working as a Senate staffer on Capitol Hill. Rob is also a retired Navy Reserve Captain.
