Martin Letourneau

Marty Letourneau has 22 years of experience working in public and private environmental management. He is currently a senior advisor within the Office of Environmental Management at the US Department of Energy. He has led numerous policy and regulatory efforts to improve the management of radioactive waste at the US Department of Energy. In addition to leading the team in the late 1990s to revise the DOE regulations for radioactive waste management to be more risk informed he is now leading the team to incorporate lessons learned from 10 years of implementation and to streamline these requirements. Marty has a Masters of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a BA from Willamette University.
