Ms. Schnetzler joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response in 2001. Since that time she oversaw revisions to 10 CFR 73.55, “Requirements for physical protection of licensed activities in nuclear power reactors against radiological sabotage,” resolved comments from stakeholders, developed associated supporting guidance for the regulation. Ms. Schnetzler has over 25 years of work experience in the field of nuclear security, including serving as a site security manager at multiple sites before joining the NRC as a security specialist with the Division of Security Policy.
