Jennifer Uhle

Dr. Jennifer L. Uhle joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 1991 when she was selected for the NRC Graduate Fellowship Program. From 1996 to 2002, she held a number of progressively more responsible positions including Leader of the Code and Models Development Team in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), Special Assistant for Reactor Programs in former Chairman Meserve's office, and Chief of the PWR Systems Section in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. In 2005, she was selected into the Senior Executive Service at the agency and was then appointed to the position of Deputy Director for Materials Engineering and subsequently Director of the Division of Engineering in 2007. In 2008, she was appointed to her current position as Director, Division of Systems Analysis in RES. Dr. Uhle received both a B.S. degree and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
