Alan Wojchouski

Alan V. Wojchouski, Principal Engineer at Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant within System engineer. Currently chairman of the BWROG committee on Containment Accident Pressure. Obtained under graduate degrees in Physics and Mathematics from St. Cloud State University in the state of Minnesota . Obtained a Master of Nuclear Engineering degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University at Blackburg Virginia. Worked at EXXON nuclear fuel fabrication facility in Richland Washington for several years performing core design and fuel management analysis for the two Prairie Island Nuclear Station units. In 1980 began work at Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant within System engineer where in 1987 obtain a senior reactor operator license on the Monticello unit. Became chairman of the BWROG committee on Containment Accident Pressure when it was formed in 2006. Monticello unit is the example plant in the License Topical Report NEDC-33347P titled CONTAINMENT OVERPRESSURE CREDIT FOR NET POSITIVE SUCTION HEAD (NPSH).
