Kimberly Keithline

Kimberly is a Senior Project Manager for New Plant Deployment at the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). She received B.S. and M.S. degrees in nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and spent 17 years working for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, where she was responsible for reactor design, manufacturing, and safety analysis for submarines, aircraft carriers, and land-based training plants. She now works with commercial reactor vendors and utilities to identify and resolve generic issues related to licensing new commercial nuclear power plants. She is also the lead project manager at NEI for seismic issues affecting existing operating plants as well as new plants.
