Division of Spent Fuel Management Regulatory Conference 2015 (DSFM REG CON)

The DSFM REG CON, being hosted by the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS), Division of Spent Fuel Management (DSFM) held its annual Regulatory Conference (REG CON) on Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.

This conference provided an opportunity for NRC staff, industry representatives, licensees, and other stakeholders to openly discuss regulatory issues of mutual interest, as they relate to spent fuel storage licensing, change control threshold, spent fuel storage and transportation research activities, stakeholder perspectives, inspection and operation experiences (OpE), technical issues, transportation certification, and consolidated storage.
