NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS
TO MEET MAY 6 - 8 IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards will hold a public meeting May 6 - 8 in Rockville, Maryland. The committee’s discussions will include, among other items, the proposed use of mixed-oxide lead test assemblies at the Catawba nuclear power plant, and potential adverse effects from power uprates at nuclear power plants.

The meeting will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency’s Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day. The meeting will be open to the public.
