NRC NAMES NEW SENIOR RESIDENT INSPECTOR
AT HARRIS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in Atlanta have
announced the assignment of Mr. Joseph Brady as the agency's
Senior Resident Inspector at the Harris nuclear power plant,
located near Raleigh, North Carolina.
He succeeds Mr. Stephen Elrod, who has retired from the NRC.
Since 1986, Mr. Brady has held NRC assignments as a Project
Engineer and Inspector in the NRC's Region II office in Atlanta,
and most recently, as a Reactor Engineer in the Region II
Division of Reactor Safety. Before joining the NRC, he was an
engineer for the Brunswick Corporation and Chevron USA, and an
officer in the U.S. Navy. He received a Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
Mr. Brady assumed his official duties at the Harris plant on
March 18, 1996, joining NRC Resident Inspector Darrell Roberts.
