IMC 0609 App K (Maintenance Risk Assessment and Risk Management Significance Determination Process) requires a read/sign and guidance to be implemented before the use of this SDP by inspectors.

IMC 0609 (Significance Determination Process) is revised to add Appendix K, "Maintenance Rule Risk Assessment and Risk Management" as an attachment.

IMC 0609 App K (Maintenance Risk Assessment and Risk Management Significance Determination Process) is issued to provide guidance in determining the significance of inspection findings related to licensee assessment and management of the risk associated with performing maintenance activities in accordance with baseline inspection procedure 71111.13, "Maintenance Risk Assessments and Emergent Work Evaluation."

IMC 0308, Att 3, App K (Technical Basis for Maintenance Risk Assessment and Risk Management SDP) is issued to describe the basis for the Appendix K, "Maintenance Rule Risk Assessment and Risk Management" SDP.

IMC 0612, App B (Issue Screening) is revised to add Question No. 5 to Minor Questions in Section 3 and Question No. 6 to the SDP Questions in Section 4 to reflect the new maintenance risk assessment and risk management SDP, IMC 0609, Appendix K, "Maintenance Rule Risk Assessment and Risk Management."

IMC 0612, App E (Examples of Minor Issues) is revised to add minor issue examples pertaining to maintenance risk assessments and risk management issues resulting from baseline inspection procedure IP 71111.13, "Maintenance Risk Assessments and Emergent Work Evaluation." In addition, additional clarifications have been made to the existing maintenance rule minor issues examples.
