REMARKS: | IMC 2515 (Light-Water Reactor Inspection Program-Operations Phase) has been revised to add a new section (12.05) which provides guidance on increased communication between the regional offices/resident inspectors and local public officials. This change was made specifically to satisfy a commitment made by NRR to resolve a concern which arose following the IP2 tube rupture event where the local county official wanted increased communication with the resident inspectors. |
| IP 71004 (Power Uprate) is issued to be used as a one-time review of plant specific changes related to an authorized increase in a plants licensed operating power level. The majority of the inspection effort associated with this power uprate effort will be accomplished within the baseline program, and inspection samples will be selected and inspected in a risk-informed manner as applicable. This inspection procedure coordinates the various inspection efforts of the current program. |
