  • The AP1000 Subcommittee will meet with representatives of the NRC Staff, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, and the AP1000 Design Centered Working Group (DCWG) to discuss the AP1000 design, proposed revisions to 10 CFR Part 52 Appendix D, issues to be resolved collectively for Combined License (COL) applicants referencing the AP1000 certified design by the AP1000 DCWG, and issues that will be resolved on a plant-specific basis by COL applicants.

  • AREVA Enhanced Option III Instability LTR AREVA submitted topical report ANP-10262 (P) (NRR TAC # MC9766), "Enhanced Option III Long Term Stability Solution," Rev.0. The Subcommittee will review and comment on the proposed instability detect and suppress solution, based AREVA stability codes and methodology. This topical report is included in the ACRS review schedule, because of Dr. Banerjee's comment that plants are relying on analytical methods never reviewed or commented on by the ACRS. These comments stemmed from the DDS-CD stability topical report which was not presented to the ACRS before approval.
