Enabling ActiveX in Microsoft Internet Explorer

NOTE: Enabling ActiveX may pose a security risk. If your computer is inside an organizational firewall, consult your network administrator.

To install and use the ADAMS web client software with the Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser, you will need ActiveX enabled. ActiveX is a feature in IE to enable you to add software components to your browser. When IE was first installed on your computer, ActiveX was automatically enabled. Therefore, you will need to follow this procedure only if your IE settings were customized after the browser was installed on your computer.
