W9 Considerations for Long-Term Storage of Spent Nuclear Fuel on the Way to Disposal
As the Nation ponders what steps to implement for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel and high level waste, the safe and secure storage of these materials may need to continue for decades. A broad range of technical, regulatory, and policy issues confronts stakeholders since interim storage systems will need to be relied upon to maintain stringent safety and security requirements. Representatives from the NRC, industry, and policy groups will present important perspectives on the leading issues affecting the long-term storage of spent nuclear fuel and high level waste.
