TH29 Allegations, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Enforcement: Statistics and Initiatives
This session will present current statistics typically of general interest in each area. It will provide updates on policy development in each area, such as the status of proposed revisions to the Enforcement Policy based on Commission direction to the staff in SRM SECY 09 0190, "Major Revision to NRC Enforcement Policy," dated August 27, 2009; the status of various initiatives related to alternative dispute resolution; and a discussion of chilling effect letter guidance in the allegation program. Participants will gain a good understanding of potential policy changes the staff is considering in each program.
