W25 Regulatory and Industry Perspectives on the Resolution of Fire Protection Issues
The session will provide regulatory and industry perspectives on the status of two major fire protection program paths available under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.48, “Fire Protection,” now that the NRC has issued safety evaluation reports to pilot licensees making the transition to 10 CFR 50.48(c), “National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPA 805.” Topics will include the current status of other 10 CFR 50.48 issues, such as fire-induced circuit failures, manual operator actions, and fire probabilistic risk assessment methods.
