External Quality Control (Peer Review) Report of OIG Audit Operations
Generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS) requires audit organizations that perform audits or attestation engagements in accordance with GAGAS to have an appropriate system of quality control and to undergo external peer reviews every 3 years.
