2.0 Site Status Summary
The decontamination phase of decommissioning was completed as of July 2003. NRC approved the Final Status Survey Plan (FSSP), which includes the final status survey (FSS) for R-66 (the license for the University of Virginia's 2MW pool type reactor). The staff is currently reviewing the Final Status Survey Report (FSSR). There is no fuel on site for this reactor.
